    Yes I like the varying fabric widths, too--gives a new look to a rail fence block.

    The strips are cut 3" wide and 2" wide. I cut the lengths @ 11", squared the blocks to 10.5" for it to finish @ 10". It is amazing how fast this quilt was to make! Hope yours turns out great!! n2
