    What a nice story. Kudos to your mother. Is she aware of the latest treatment for dry macular degeneration? It sounds unpleasant and probably is, for a second or two: It's an injection into the affected eyeball. BUT, and this is a big BUT it restores vision! I wish it had been around for my Dad who, toward the end, could hardly see anything at all.

    I just love happy endings, and the quilt is beautiful. It's amazing what people can do with certain disabilities, she should be proud of her work.

    This is a wonderful story -with a wonderfully happy ending. Thank you for the lesson that your Mother has taught my through this quilt. Please give her my most sincere regards and respect.....lucky you to have been raised by such a woman.
