    Looks like you learned more than stated, as your quilt came out amazing. Bet she will love it. It seems I learn from each quilt I make. Sometimes it is what to do, and sometimes it is what NOT to do LOL. I love trying new ideas and techniques to expand my knowledge, and with quilting it isn't hard to try new things........my bucket list gets longer by the day.

    What a wonderful quilt! You must really have a knack for it if this is only your second one!

    Love the white with all the bright colors, great fabric choices.

    I love the illusion of this quilt. The sashing gives it the look of a quilt behind a window. Great colors. Great job.
