    Thanks for the link and the info about using gray scale to view a pattern. I, too, get hung up on the fabrics used in a quilt and can't see the possibilities that are really there. I'm sorry for the fate of the man you made the quilt for, but I'm glad his wife is comforted by your lovely quilt.
