We call the "crazy black eyes" the "Zippy Cat Warning signal" Lol!

No cats but I'm watching this thread.

MadameKelly, I have seen the cucumber video. I may be totally off base about this but I wonder if the cats think the cucumber is a snake.

I tried several different types of circles on the floor last night using my tape measure, a lengthwise folded quilt, and my crew's cat toys. Nothing. Maybe my 3 are just lazy.

Thank you to everyone who is partcipating in this experiment. My daughter laughed at me when I showed her the article and photos. She thinks that somebody put the circles down and then sat a cat inside before taking a photo. While that is possible, some tbings in nature are peculiar and seem unexplainable. The only way to know if the article is a hoax or not is to test more cats. If I still had cats, I would definitely try this.

Interesting. I did not know the ferret was part of the cat family. Thanks for the info.

Louise, I am so sorry, we had to put my Timmy cat to sleep at the emergency vets on New Years Day. I am heartbroken as well. He would get in my stash of yarn or fabric and make a circle to sleep inside of. Will be interesting to see what others say.
