    What a fabulous quilt! I love the loft you have with that batting. I have a hard time getting that look, so now I know to try that type of batting. She'll love having this quilt and it will be with her her entire life.

    Thank you. I don't remember what the exact loft was, but I went with the highest loft that was still marked as good for hand quilting on the Dream Cotton package. I will use this loft from now on for all my blanket quilts. It was incredibly easy to quilt on, but I stab stitch hand quilt rather than do a rocking stitch. It might be harder for a rocking stitch.
