Great idea for going to a class or retreat. I always mark 'my stuff' with my name but it still seems to walk around. Making a mat with the clear plastic pockets is a good idea. I have been thinking of making one like the bed pocket idea; I think the clear plastic pockets will be incorporated.

I was searching how to make one of these. This one is better than other patterns I found. I love the clear pockets.

I like the idea. But have a question. ?
If there is no rubber on the bottom, does the machine move around on the table, or does it not matter?
    Thanks for sharing.

Great idea, Nancy! I have a square twister topper I never gave away because I was not happy with the colors. Think i will make myself a mat. I have never used plastic. Is it a special product for sewing? Thanks Sharon
