    Thanks so much, Lynnie. It is an easy and fun quilt to make. I used the tutorial from Jenny Doan at MSQC. It's called checkered Dresden quilt. You can make it any size you want. Each Plate block is 21", and I am making 4 across and 4 down. So the quilt will be 84 x 84, then I'll add a border to make it king size. I have 12 blocks pieced. Let me know what you decide to do with your batiks. I love batiks.
