I've had similar things happen with sewing or machine embroidery. My creative fixes made the item more interesting than the original. I really love the dolphins. great fix!

That was terrific!! I was going to suggest a surfer, but the dolphins are even better because you get to put more than one.

I actually thought of a surfer, but the dolphins were exactly the right size, so I went the easy route!

I didn't even see it as a mistake. The first thought that came into my mind was that this particuar wave was bigger than the others.

You did a great job thinking about what to do so they all look the same. Love the quilt, nice job!

I love your quilt. Mistakes are just design opportunities. You took your opportunity to great lengths. Those fish sure do look happy to be living so close to all of those beautiful bright colored houses.
