finally someone else who admits to being a crazy quilter. The only kind I do "as no mistakes, just new opportunities......"
I have made quite a few crazy quilts, 2 Japanese, 1 tree of life, several stockings, pillows, and lots of other things.
No pictures as will have to figure that one out.

I love your work, very pretty and the photos show them well. I have made a crazy quilt by request from my grand daughter aaaa9young adult). Hated the idea of it since I like applique and piecing. BUT once I started I enjoyed the process greatly. I still have all of the left over fabrics waiting for my friend to take them of of my hands.

I do not know if I am considered a crazy quilter or not, but I did make a large lap quilt for my sister's big 50 birthday. Embroidered special dates and all. I is on this forum somewhere. Will have to find if iterested. You did and excellent job. Now when I flew out to Colorado from Tn to give it to her, had to practically wear it like a big shawl or blanket, would not fit in the suitcase. What a laugh. I will say she did cry when she got it. Made my heart feel so good.

I have tons of fancy fabrics like brocades, velvets and things - but they are all in storage..after seeing projects like this I can't wait to get into my stash......
I work in an interior decorating showroom - I wish you were all closer to take our discontinued pieces...we throw out a truckloat of samples in a year....it's unreal!

I love to Crazy Quilt, that is how I actually started to quilt, I first started doing Crazy Quilt Vests for my daughter, then the rest is history. I love to embroidery and incorporate that into my crazy quilting, especially little verses/sayings.
