    I got the pattern from a book called Deck the Halls QUilts to Celebrate Christmas by Cheryl Almgren Taylor. She called the pattern "Pretty Poinsettias Quilt". On page 31-35. The pattern is really simple. It's machine applique. I used gold metallic thread to applique it.
