I never know when to quit. Once I get on a roll I forget all else.
And tearing it apart and then redoing the mistake. I have done that too.

I have used both side of the material in a quilt, it saves buying extra material to get more designs.
Not that I don't have a stash big enuf for all of us. :0

I wish I could say it was only when I needed a break. Unfortunately that happens to me when I am just getting started. Just don't know where my head is sometimes.

I have to admit, I looked at that picture and looked and looked before I saw that the center fabric was turned wrong. I was checking the measurements and everything. So....unless all the blocks are the same how "wrong" can it be. No matter which side the breads buttered on, go ahead, eat both sides.

Oh boy, do I have experience doing that!! I can't believe it when it happens, since I'm trying to be so careful. I tell myself "this quilt would be done if I could only do things right!"

Can't say that I know when to stop, either. I have quilted all night. I have been on quilt retreat and sewed from sunup 'til 2 or 3am, napped, then back to sewing for 5 days straight! I can sleep at home! Only one problem: I have made errors and not noticed them 'til the quilt was quilted & bound and hanging on a store display! Yikes!

i take a break after every 2 bobbin refills.... can't seem to get up after 1st one !!

When I am up in my sewing room and all of a sudden I realize the room is pretty dark and I didn't realize it was getting dark.
