Somewhere in AZ there's a road called something like dead man's last chance... I don't remember exactly what it is though...

These make me laugh. Guess we don't have any fun names here. Guess I need to pay attention more.

Ok you all ready for this one? I might have to take a pic of it next time I am down there. There is a street in Homer, AK named Poop Deck! No lie!

I want to name our driveway- it's 700 feet long. Maybe I can use one of these. :)

And a name for our property- it's 34 acres. After 8 years I still don't know what to name it. I call it Vern & Tim's Place- because I call hubby Tim from Tim Taylor (Home Improvement) and he calls me Vern, from the Ernest movies.

Some of these sound like good choices.....

Jackass Hill Road in Denver, CO. (I kid you not)

I would not be able to buy a house on a street with a name like that. In fact, this street is in a very nice area of Denver--Ken Caryl.

Hooker Avenue in Poughkeepsie, NY, or Skunk Hollow Road, about 30 miles north - named, NOT after the critter, but the skunk cabbage that comes out in the swampy areas there every spring.

Hooker Ave was named after the Civil War General, whose camp followers were the origal "Hookers" - and there are some lovely Victorian houses there.

Our farm is A Bit of the Past. Hubby came up with that, I sure like it.
