I took the weekend off and put my August BOM together. I have never done a braid before. V-E-R-Y interesting! Just glad I only have to do one. It isn't the prettest thing as I am using whatever is in my stash. I didn't have any large foral prints. ( I can't seem to find them any more.) So I used a large print of random "sort of" paisley print thingys........

Hi Sulabug! Thanks for the hugs!

Love all the new blocks. So pretty.

I too am wondering where all the others are.
This is so fun and only once a month so no
pressure. You can all catch up and enjoy the
    journey with us.

I'm just peeking in. I love these blocks with the braid!! They are all so impressive. One of these days, I'm going to watch for something I can jump in on...when I think I can keep up!

All the blocks are so pretty...I'm still debating if I should give it a try or not ...it looks very complicated to me. I love the way it look tho, but I have read the directions over several times and I'm not quite sure yet....lol

Oh, go ahead and jump in the water's fine LOL. Learning is what BOM is all about. It was my first time also, but I got it. I found it easier than June. I am rooting for you. Can't wait to see your results.............

Yes Donna, jump right in & give it a try. I had never made one before & found it not only challenging to make, but rewarding. Otherwise I would never have even thought of making one!! Boy, would I have missed out!!

Well, here is my try at the block....I had such a hard time with it as you can probably see, but I just had to try my hand at it, I love a challenge but i don't think this pattern with make it to my sewing machine again. Phew!
    Any tips would help, thanks
