    That is beautiful! The blocks are wonderful -- yellow and red is my favorite color combination. I love the wide sashing between the blocks.

    Thanks for the close-up photo. I am now officially inspired.

    I got the measurements from the existing valances, sewed the valance tops and then cut a D9P in half across the diagonal and sewed those to the edges. Then turned up a 1/2 inch binder to finish. Had no pattern, just used the old valances for idea. Good luck is you decide to do it. This was really fun for me because I had never done anything like it before. My DH is so pleased with my efforts and of course, my little dog is right at home on the new beds. Thank you for your interest and comments.
