    Izy,
You told Grandma Cindy that you and your friends are all British ex-pats. May I ask what that mean?

I believe it means expatriots, formerly from and living in England. ?

Yes it means we are all originally from Britain - ex patriotic, I think you could say it means that all the British who have 'left' their country are not loyal to it!

Its just a phrase that is used to described a Brit living abroad!!

    I love the pictures!
    Such happy faces!
The wallhanging the Elle is doing is beautiful!

There's a store here in the mall that I came across that has "pictures" that are TOTALLY hand embroidered. AWESOME! Made me think of everyone in Spain.
I tried to take a picture of one of them, but the shop owner wouldn't let me :(

I'm glad everyone enjoyed their "Christmas". Looks like everyone had a great time and I'm sure they are going to ask you weekly if you have recieved any more packages. lol

I loved seeing the pics of your fiesta! It looks like a group I would love to belong to. You can see the friendship through the pictures, thousands of miles away. Make sure you tell all the members how lucky they are to have each other!

Izy thank you so much for sharing these photos! They all looked so excited and happy to receive their pressies!! I have to agree with Terri about her favourite photo being everyone around the table as though on a feeding frenzy!!! LOL

If this little Santa event is to happen again, I will definetely want to be part of it!!!!! You have a wonderful sewing/quilting group over there and there is amazing talent in your circle of friends!

Isy: What fun. Thank you for sharing the pictures of your group and also of your projects. Looks like you have some pretty talented. skilled quilters and embroider-ers in your group. Lovely pieces of art.
