Can you help me with the layout?

Three. But, just for fun, try putting the same colors in the first and last row the same but opposite. For instance, blue, red, green, purple on the first row and then purple, green, red and blue on the bottom and mixing the center blocks.

Your blocks are gorgeous. But I feel the 2 orange are too close together, also, try the gradating colors, I bet that would look good too. Good luck, I think anything you do with them is going to make a fabulous quilt!

I like 3 also, but with my eyes it seems like the outside yellow block kind of fades away - if you keep all the orange blocks maybe you can try switching the outside yellow block with the outside orange block - just to see how it looks. Overall, I really like your colors!

All great, - but maybe the blues and purples could be separated a little more - they are very strong and dominant and if too c.ose, draw the eye to them rather than the allover effect.
Does anyone else use the 2 feet, 10 feet rule? How does it look close up and at a distance. Sometimes a 20 foot perspective helps too.
