I've often wished they would make a half gallon size, too. Sometimes a quart size is too small and a gallon size is too large.

Our Dollar Tree here closed it's doors. My question...How can a DOLLAR store go out of business? More things to ponder..

Ive gotten them at Cash and Carry. Walmart has them sometimes here, but I think everyone grabs them up before I get there. LOL

The 2 gallon size holds an book and paper nicely! I've been using it as a take along project. I make the templates and foundation papers from the book. When I'm home and have time, I'll sew up the blocks.

IF YOU GO over to where they sell the Vacuum Cleaners at Walmart......you can buy ziploc bags that are BIG ENOUGH for a COMPLETED Quilt. I can't remember the size they are, but the will hold a queen sized completed and folded quilt. If I remember right, there are either 5 or 10 bags in the package for like $6.00. So check them out. Sometimes they have them, sometimes they don't so keep checking back.

I love them too. I get mine at Smart & Final, and use them for storing wool sweaters, quilting projects, yarn, books, and in mailing envelopes, as well as the kitchen. They have endless uses!
