Responding to Cajunquilter. There aren't any quilt shops in New Orleans. I was just telling my hubby the other day that we need to take a road trip to Lafayette to check out the art galleries because I am not able to find a nice painting for above my fireplace which he is eager to purchase. I didn't tell him that I wanted to check to see if there are any quilt shops in Lafayette! Hee Hee......

Yes we have 2 quilt shops here and one is literally across the street from my house. That one is called Gingers Needleworks and the other one is The Borne Quilter and they both know me VERY well. :lol:

I know there used to be one I think on Veterans in Kenner but was not sure if it was still there.
