the tennessee waltz quilt - i used the Elenor Burns booklet from Quilt in a Day--called Tennesse waltz- and was it hard?...not necessarily hard-it is not something i normally do...to me making more than one or two of the same block and i'm over it and moving on i just really find it horribly tedious to make lots and lots of the same block over and over---so i did not really enjoy making the quilt- i wish i hadn't run out of fabric - i would have liked it larger, but i will add a couple borders and probably never make another one...i am very happy that i made it- it was challenging and i do love how it turned out

the pattern for the 3rd one (the bright colorful one) was a kit from Connecting Threads called 'Nieces and Nephews'
very easy, very fun! very colorful! very in-expensive. and now i have the patten to use for other color layouts. i added the lime green sashing strips my self to make it larger- the pattern has the blocks butted against each other.

All three are wonderful quilts.
Tennessee Waltz has always been one of my favorite, but I never made one.

I think the Tennessee Waltz one should
dance right to my bed.
Another block and pattern you
are making me look up. How long
does one live?
They are stunning. :)
Thank you for the pattern info.
