I told her she needed a break and asked her to come and sew. I would teach her to quilt. Well yesterday her , my granddaughter and my youngest daughter all came over for a sewing Saturday. Everyone had a great time and my BFF left with TWO quilts to bind. Yes she peiced and quilted them both, She told me she hasn't had that much fun in a long time. Noone to think about but herself. My DH even grilled our lunch for us. She said she definately needed more fabric therapy so we all decided to meet each month to have one day just for us. I was so glad I could teach her to quilt and to give her much needed ME time. I think we all need that once in a while.
Let me thank you for being such a loving and careing best friend. God Bless

I have been planning to buy some charm packs for my beautician. Her husband has been out of work for several years. She needs to do something just for herself, instead of constantly working. She is also a great beautician. Diane C

that sounds like an absolute dream day. some of my friends dream of a day at the spa--i can't think of anything more relaxing and wonderful than a day with friends of a shared heart, surrounded by fabric and congeniality. your hubby sounds like a part of that dream too! (give him a collective hug from us on the board!)

friend and fabric therapy are among the most healing. you qualify on both counts!
