I like #1 dark on outter edges going in to the light blues then to Grandma. It draws your attention in to the sweet lady!

I think the second, it is like a tree more rings, but I think it sets her off more like a frame.

got a feeling your gonna get a split decision on this one. But I like the first one, it is brighter and cheeryer (is that a word) to me.

Yes QuiltE, her favorite color is blue that is why I've used so many blues. Her eyes are very blue also. Thank you for all your responses.............love to hear them.
