Go to Barnes and Noble, get a latte or some other drink that is a treat, and pick up a few quilting magazines to browse through. That always gets me excited to start a new project.

All I have to do is read one day of the quilting board and I have so many ideas that I can't even begin to know where to start. Can't wait to do the jelly roll strip quilt today except I will use strips from my stash.

All of the above! I usually have home-made kits sitting around, they are already cut and ready to for sewing. THat way I don't have to think, just sew. That helps me.

I like to look through my quilt books. Or I go blog-hopping to see if anything inspires me.

sometimes you just need to shut down and take time for other things. After 3 or 4 quilts, I usually find I take a month or so off. Just natures way of rejeuvenating our brains, I think. Go with the flow! magazines get me inspired...quilt shows...etc.

Is the "blahs" contagious? I am having them also. At the present I am piecing a "Missouri Daisy" for my youngest daughter, and just don't seem to be having any fun doing it. The Blahs got to me.

Go fabric shopping. That always gets the juices flowing. No car? Use your computer.

Flylady has a trick. Set your baking timer for say 30 minutes. If you honestly work on it for 30 minutes and you aren't getting into it and having fun, stop. Or...just ignore the timer and keep sewing.

I can do anything for 30 minutes. However, if it is cleaning, all I can do is 15.
