    I like the Machinger's quilting gloves. I find myself always having to remove the fingertips and they were more trouble than they were worth, but for some reason the gloves are easier to deal with, even tho they have fingers on them.

    Try all the batting from Quilters Dream Batting. You won't be disappointed. My favorite is the Wool. Ouch, it does cost a lot!!

    I too am a beginner quilter and working on a disappearing 9 patch quilt for my daughter. I am using musical prints that are black, brown gold and orange. Looking forward to seeing your quilt.
