AMEN! How many times have I pushed to finish something only to discover I have to take it all apart in the next 20 minutes!!!

I finally decided mornings were for cutting and sewing, afternoons for napping, and evenings for looking through all those quilt magazines and fabrics to get my next project ready to roll.

It's a rule also, never follow a popup message on a computer when you have been gone a week, at 3 am...nope...not a good thing!
Did that only once...went to Sweden, got home at 3 am...saw a box on the screen...I hit OK instead of closing the box...not a good feeling, as you don't get a 2nd chance when it's a virus...it just wipes out everything!

That was in 1999, haven't made that mistake since.

Sewing at 3am is the same...don't sew after 3 am...nope...you will just have to tear it out and start over.

Too funny!! I spent most of 30 years of nursing on the evening and night shifts to I could sew all night long but NEVER in the morning.

It's funny how our brains don't think quite right after a certain hour. Your posting made me smile!
