Congratulations to you and your son - it takes a lot of work to obtain Eagle rank.

Congratulations from another Eagle Scout mom!

I think it is wonderful to hear about a young person who has worked hard and has accomplished what they set out to do. You have a right to be proud!

Congratulations to your son and also to his parents and family. I wish him success in any future endeavor.

We have a grandson who has earned his Eagle Scout award, but hasn't had his ceremony yet. We are proud of him! He also has used his first-aid skills when recently treated a young boy who had fallen off a four-wheeler and was knocked unconscious and bleeding from a head wound. He was first on the scene, took over by stopping traffic and ordering an ambulance while the boy's mother, a nurse saw to his care. Our grandson is training this summer to enter the Marine Corp this fall.

May God richly bless your family.

Blessings to all of you Eagle parents, G-parents, & GG-parents. I guess I'm not really surprised at the number of quilters who have scouts as well, and still great to hear about all of the Eagles out there.
One of our dear friends' son joined the Air Force Academy last summer, after H.S., & getting his Eagle rank. He fits with the statistics we've heard. My son plans to go into Biology & Computer Science. So far, our troop has had 8 Eagles in the last 3 years (this being the big year with 5 who've known each other since 1st grade). Truly a testament to our Scout leadership!
I also appreciate all the kind well wishes; it really touches my heart. THANKS!

My son pinning on a mentor pin to one of his leaders. My son is the tall one. Cartoonized per my kids wishes.

Somethings DESERVE bragging about.... Brag on!

Through your efforts, one more positive force has been added to this world of chaos.... He and his fellow Eagles give us all hope.

    Thank you .... and CONGRATULATIONS!

Thanks for sharing your son with us. We also have two sons who are Eagle Scouts. Our oldest, has continued in Scouting because he loves it and has two boys, the oldest of whom, is an Eagle Scout. His younger son has only to do his 'project' for Eagle and is 14 years old. So, I guess I am bragging a bit, but YES, Scouting did bring out my shy youngster, who is now 47 years old and still giving back.

Just read your last post and decided to add to mine. We believe in Scouting too. Our oldest Eagle, is a graduate of West Point. He served 10 years and then the reserve too. He is now an Engineer for a very large company in San Diego. It is all related to the desire to serve and be of service to others as well. Hats off to all who were there to help our young people achieve.
