New from Sweden
#52
Welcome from St. Paul, Minnesota, home of most of the Swedes in the US!!!! My grandparents (on my father's side) were from Varmland, Sweden. My father and I used to make Potatis Korv just before Christmastime and then eat that with lefse and lingonberries. Lot of old Swedish traditions in our home! Love that stuff. We used to grind the meat and potatoes and onions and mom would grind the allspice (with a mortar and pestle) and then stuff that into casings - oh, golly it was so good. We still try to make it now and again. My sister makes the best lefse.
Again, welcome! Edie

Wolfie! I enjoy that name.....Welcome from me in Santiago Chile. While you are enjoying summer we are having a 0 degree winter and the only heat we have here are little room gas heaters to huddle around. Great for wanting to quilt, except you don't want to actually move the blanket around at all! (BG)
I highly recommend a Long Arm. I have dragged mine around the planet and it has been a champ helping to get so much more done and experiment with so many more techniques. Best of luck in your dream for that...
