been there done that. hurts like the devil for a day or two. I kinda figure it was a lesson learned - pay attention. LOL

Almost that bad but just seven stitches next to my nail. Seven stitches and a Tetenus shot.

Oh no...ouch.

You said, "Now it is just numb, after two days"......that's a sign that something is wrong. maybe you hit a nerve. I wouldn't think it wouldn't be numb after two days....sore yes, but not numb. Maybe you should have a dr. look at it.

Yes I did the same only needle head with thresd was in finger on a slant with thresd still attached. I also had to reverse and pull thread out of needle. It was the most pain full thing I've ever done. Had to go into Er,they scheduled surgery right away. From that day on I warn everyone to be very very careful.To this day my nail spilts in that spoy.

I've done that several times, all by accident of course. The last time I had to go to the ER to have metal fragments removed from my finger, not pretty. Afterward, I bought a stiletto to use instead of my fingers, stilettos are replaceable, fingers are not.

It happened to me when I worked in a factory sewing. I jerked my finger out and made it worse. Hope yours heals soon.
