    How cute - very original, if you had it on display it's the kind of quilt that would be noticed and get lots of favorable comments.

    That's the only way to learn. Is just get in there and start doing it! I think you did good on your first try. Can't wait to see your next item. Practice makes perfect. I first started out by getting a cheater clothe baby top. And quilted on that. Then went on to pieced tops.

    You did a great job and I like the quilted dog and appliqued bones (nice touch). Keep on going, you definitely have talent!
