I don't think your price is out of line at all. Stick with it and if you don't sell them all, hang onto them, and word of mouth about the quality and workmanship will probably eventually get them sold. Your bags are very pretty, and your costs and time spent, along with the fine quality of your work are worth everything you are asking, and frankly worth more!

Thanks everyone for the responses. It makes me feel much better. I'm going to keep the prices at 30 & 40 for the craft festival. I go to a large church & this festival is really a large one for a church. The church has had this for several years. They want to specialize in homemade products. And the vendors want to come back to it every year. This will be my first time doing this or selling anything really. If the price of fabric keeps going up and I want to try this again then I might raise my prices $5 or so. I'll let everyone know how it goes in Nov.

Don't listen to your friend. I think you are right in your pricing (Maybe you could go $30.& $35.). No lower though. If she had to make one, she would better understand.

Your prices sound right, go for it. If someone wants to make one for $15.oo let them try.

I sold mine for 50.00 and have orders for 2 more.
I would not make them for less than that.

Our quilt group is going to do a craft show in the Fall. We have been wondering about what we can and cannot sell because of patterns being copywrighted. The other "problem" was in pricing and that was handled by simply deciding NOT to give things away. People are there to purchase items that they cannot make themselves. If they want something of value they will make the purchase, otherwise there are $$$ stores.
