I watched the Sharon Shamber video and have been using glue ever since. Much easier. No pins to stick me. Just a fine line of Elmer's washable glue; press the binding in place with your iron (helps to set the glue) then sew. So easy. I love it.

I too love and use Sharon's glue method. HOWEVER, I am very interested in the fusible thread. Never even heard of it.

I am another who has used Sharon Schambers glue baste method. I like it for anything that is going to get a lot of use or on quick small projects such as table runners or wall hangings. I use Elmer's school glue. It washes right out if you get a little of it on your project.

I have used Elmers Glue and set with a dry iron, or the binding clips are wonderful to use.

I use regular school glue, Elmer's. I put it on in a fine line, a little at a time, with a toothpick. It works perfectly well and a small bottle of glue lasts forever. 8-)

Sharon Schambers uses glue to hold the binding until she gets it sewn in place...see her you-tube videos. I never did figure out what those little metal tips were or where I could find them---thanks!
