Hi and welcome from Lowell, MA. It's nice to see a fellow quilter from SD. I grew up in Mission Hill, outside Yankton and have lots of family still in the area. One SIL lives in the house my great-grandmother built when my Mom was young. It was built on land that was homesteaded when Dakota was still a territory and Yankton was the territorial capital. Just FYI. Welcome aboard, you're going to love this site, I find lots of good tips and great inspiration from all the quilts that people show.

Thank you! What a small world it is-you don't get the seasons, but, after a couple nasty winters and broiling summers, you would be glad to be in NM!
Hi Nancy! Our family lived up the road from you in Huron, SD, and before that we had a farm outside of Hitchcock, SD. I miss it so much! We moved to the desert southwest almost a decade ago for health reasons.
