    Wendy, you are so talented. I want to make some for gifts and they are a good way to practice FMQ'g aren't they.

    They sure are a great way to practice FMQ'ing, and great for trying out new/different motifs too. :thumbup:

    When I quilt these I sandwich JUST the top and the batting. After it's quilted, I trim it square and sew the back on envelope-style. That makes them super quick and easy!!!

    They are beautiful, as is your quilting. That would be a great way for me to practice FMQ, whenever I get to making mug rugs.

    Thanks for the tips. How very clever to just quilt top and batting. Never even thought of that. I was thinking "what a pain to put on binding on such a small project." They are really quite neat. Will have to get the courage to try it:) Thanks again!!!
