Welcome. I have learned more from this board in the 6 months than any other resource available to me. This is saying a huge kudo from me since I do not like searching and studying and any other learning process except "here's what you need to do and here's how you do it." AND here's a double handle full of experienced quilters ready and willing to, freely, give their wonderful, life's experiences in quilting and sewing. What more could a novice need. Personally, I am still needy!!!

Greetings and welcome from Oregon City, Oregon!
You'll find tons of information here to get you started. Also, there are many tutorials on the internet. A wealth of information is out there! Start with an easy pattern...my best advice!

Welcome from Eastern Maine. I too want to learn Machine quilting. I took a class at a local quilt shop but I want to learn on the Long Arms as well.

Welcome to the board, I hope you realize that once you have been star struck at a quilt show, there is no known cure. (Not that we have looked for anyway)

Welcome from Minnesota. You can get a lot of info from this Board, and if you want hands on, take a beginners class at your local quilt shop. Enjoy.

Sounds like you were bitten by the quilt bug. Warning: no known cure. (Not that we want to be cured). Welcome and enjoy. Warning #2 This blog is addictive too.
