All suggestions are great -- center panel in a quilt, a pillowcase, or tote. personally, I think I would make 2 totes....

Shopping bags. In my area we pretty much all now have to bring our own bags to the super market so I have been making them from my stash of fabric. I like novelty prints -always know my bags from others!

Use the yard of fabric and keep adding borders until it gets to be a lap size. If you have a son, grandson or male friend. He will love it. I made two of my granddaughters a lap size throw a few years ago. They loved them.

If you love the pattern I'd use it for backing because once you cut it up the picture will be lost.
