    sometimes I have purposefully used the "wrong" side of the fabric when I need a more subtle look or when a paler version of one fabric is not to be had. Works great!

    What a great story and to be able to tell it 'on yourself' today means you have a sense of humor about it now. I guess it's like any hobby or occupation, you come across terms that can't be explained except by that expert who knows. Thanks for sharing, love stories like this. :lol:

    my granddaughter was 'helping' me to some piecing yesterday. I had to explain the right and wrong side thing to her and she got it. But I couldn't get her to line up the corners so I could just shoot the squares into the sewing machine! She had fun matching prints and colors. (4yrs old)
