    YES!! I have been working on this one for a few years, off and on. I have all 40 blocks finished, and the triangles on the side and top. Now, just the borders are left. I can't wait until I get this one done....oh, yes, my background is black instead of cream.

    There is a brown bird....one in one of the blocks (center bottom, left side of the block) and also in the outside borders...also corners). Just remember, "anyone can do anything one step at a time." Don't know who was the author of that, but it is a tag line of Diana Feit of CyberQuilters quilt list. And it certainly works for this quilt! I am doing needle turn with back basting.
