    The border is just the right thing for that quilt. It will be scrumptious when it is quilted. The new machine has to be a real joy! :lol:

    Oh for heaven's sake Shadow! That was a great choice. It reminds me of the old timey quilts of the past. Perfect!

    I am not surprised that we are both working on Redwork. LoL! Mine are hand embroderies though. A set of Good Morning and Good night shams. (From Lace Tales pattern makers.) Ever visit thier site on line? They have one iron on that reads, "I love you more today than yesterday, Yesterday you got on my nerves". LoL! And "The early bird makes breakfast".

    Oh my. That black border is perfect and the tiny re border sets it off to a tee. Wonderful as always.

    that is such a charming 'country' girl quilt. have you considered taking the country charm one step further with either a red/white gingham or red/white dotted fabric?
