Well, for someone who didn't want to work on this project you did a bang up job. I like the red stitching showing up on the back, and the pinwheels in the borders make an eye catching design in what would have been a repetitive pattern of stars.

I love Christmas fabric and wish I could leave my Christmas quilts out all year long. BUT, I would really rather make quilts out of just regular fabric as it is left out all year long.

I really like your quilt! Of course, I have a fat quarter of the snowmen fabric. Haven't used it yet but it reminded me of my kids when they were young out making a snowman in their winter hats. Congrats on finishing a quilt with fabrics you don't like- some of us can't get them finished with fabrics we love- go figure!

The quilt is beautiful, especially for someone who doesn't like Christmas fabric. I personally love it, especially when I find silly cats or dog fabric, but then that's me. It takes people like you to encourage us to use "ugly" or "don't want to use that fabric" to make a beautiful quilt. See - this could be the start of something new.

I like the christmas time, but the fabric. Enough said. You took lemons and made lemonade. Beautiful.

I love Christmas fabric ! This year there's no money to spend so I making quilts with the Christmas fabric. Really quick ones I found online. They only use 3 fabrics and that's a chalenge for me. The pattern is called a quick donation quilt. It's just strips cut the width of fabric in different sizes. anyway...it highlights the beautiful fabric that was just sitting on my shelf. I've already made 5 tops in a day & 1/2. And it's big 50x70, that's pretty big for a throw. Perfect for my DIL's Mother that I'll be seeing at Christmas !!
