    Sometimes we are too judgmental about the origins of fabrics. Wal Mart has good fabrics, but just like everywhere else, you have to know what you are buying. When I first started quilting, the fabric at WM was great. Over the years, some of the fabric has gotten thinner and the weave looser (in some fabrics, not all) so I don't buy those. We buy what we can afford to keep our machines and brains humming. BTW, beautiful quilt and lovely colors. Enjoy!

    You did very nice work. If you can handle Walmart you can get things to make a nice quilt. I'm hoping they drive the fabric price down elsewhere.
