Love the photo and am so pleased for her. How wonderful that your post can bring her the recognition and joy she so richly deserves. Her work is fantastic. To be sure she has inspired me....perhaps now I shall have the courage to do some paper piecing too. Thanks so much for sharing. Tell your Mum we will all be looking for what she has on her project list next.

Mama Mac - I love, love, love your work. Show us more. You sure do make gorgeous stuff! And aren't you a little darling? I just want to squeeze you. Natalie, I'm sending Mama kisses on each cheek and a giant quilters hug - will you pass it on for me? You are so lucky to have her.

I am a huge fan of color and she puts it together so amazingly well! I bet her beautiful smile is a joy to be around! And I want to be able to put my colors together that well one day! Just amazing!

She does beautiful work! And pretty spunky of her to use that wild fabric. You go girl!

I can't believe the eye for color your mom has. I LOVE her work!!! Maybe she could join our community of quilters on the QB. I'd love to have her input!

I love that your Mom is so fearless with her fabric choices! Please thank her for the wonderful work she does. I saw your last post with her other quilts, and each one put a big smile on my face and made my heart sing!!! I said it before and I'll say it again..."Your Mom rocks!"

BTW, I saw how important this discussion board is. Mom was overwhelmed, speechless, and floated upstairs to have a little cry. At 86, quilting is a solitary enjoyment.

I will be more intentional to cheer you on too! Really, really important to keep encouraging each other.

    Many thanks again.

What a beautiful lady and what wonderful works of art she is producing! I can see in her smile and in her eyes how happy she is with her quilting--she's just glowing. I pray I'm doing as well as your mom when I'm 86.
