Thanks to everyone for your wonderful comments. I'll try to answer your questions.....First...the original design came from a collection of designs from nature purchased from Dover. The line drawing and the lettering were printed on
fabric. I added a fusible interfacing, did the thread painting (the center medalion and the "stems" ) The colors were enhanced with inktense pencils...batting and backing were put together using spray adhesive then I did the bead work. The binding...and then a sigh of relief!.....It really looks good next to January's 12 x 12....
