Your piece looked SOOO good. You have reawakened my interest in paper piecing.

Okay, so tell me, where did you find directions that were easy to follow? For a long time I have wanted to learn paper piecing, but the sites on-line seemed very confusing (it had to be the instructions, not ME!!! ) and I don't know what book would be best. Anyone have suggestions?

I remember seeing something online, but can't remember where it was sorry. There will be some links in the link section I would think.

I have done crazy patching before too, so I think that probably helps, I already had the concept sussed of sewing then flipping it over.

Great color choices Blue Chicken. Did you decide on the black background with the jewel colors? I agree - it can be adicting!

    Yep, definitely the black background.

I've picked some rainbow colours, same pattern, but will spread the rainbow around the circle.

I have a tendency to not want to touch what's in my stash and save it for a rainy day. But being on the other side of the world to you guys, winter is on it's way, and with the whole recession thing going on we're a bit broke right now, so this must count as an almost rainy day! lol
It doesn't have to be wet outside for it to be a rainy day.

Love your blocks. I need to start doing that with my scraps instead of just giving them away.

    BC,

here is the scoop. Carol has a book on 50 stars, one for each state, but don't worry, they really have nothing to do with the states. Most will link themselves together. Don't get that book!

Don't. We will never see you again.

    Nice work.
