    It needs a framing border to me and then maybe a regular border. This will make the actual design pop and I think make it a WOW quilt...just my opinion.

    Very nice! I don't think it really needs a border. Up to you though. It's a gorgeous quilt.

    Not sure what the backing fabric looks like but if it has a combination of red,white & blue,I'd say yes !

    I would add a small red inner border then a larger patriotic fabric border, with red binding.

    I vote for a narrow than little bit wider border. I really like the quilt.

    I would put a small red border and bind it in the red also just to set it off.
