    We got some of that snow also, but I am in the basement also and can almost forget it is cold and snowy outside (if I work real hard at it).

    We got about 1/2" and thanks that it is gone.

    Here in central Arkansas, I hand quilt in the den which has large windows on three sides so I can see my driveway, the neighbors and huge pecan trees in the north yard. My sewing machine is in the formal living room with the drapes pulled back. Today, I see about six inches of snow on the ground and trees and outbuildings.

    I look out into by back yard and swimming pool, that if full of leaves blown in during out last storm...Glad for the rain, it's been a dry year...
