Wow guys, thanks so much..yes I really miss my mom, you know I think about her every day. She taught me to sew,knit and do all those things together, my dad passed before her , 4 years earlier, so we had a real bond. I am so touched by the lovely comments you made, and the fact that you all know how much making this quilt, meant to me personally. It is the first memory quilt I made and it is so meaningful to me personally, but it is great that you all like the way I made it too, with all the flowers and the fussy cut set squares, as a floral quilt as well.

My moms name was Ella by the way but she loved colourful flowers especially Dahlias and Lilies.
