    A gorgeous quilt for a beautiful little girl!! She will learn her colors at a very young age! I think you did an awesome job of hand quilting it!! Congrats on finishing--feels good, doesn't it???

    The doctors really are miracle workers these days. Of course you never want to find out something is wrong with your baby, but at least with cleft lip/cleft palate, the issues are basically fixable and the baby will be able to live a normal, healthy life. I've been amazed at how quickly her lip has healed. My husband and I know that we have been blessed! Hope your niece is able to feel the same!
