I really like the puffiness of the quilt too. What was your batting? Lovely colors and just a super quilt.

This is lovely! Just shows you don't have to make one of those fancy schmancy art quilts to create something beautiful! 5" squares, my favorite.

I am in love. Wonderful quilt. Everything about it: method of quilting, colors placement, the way the strips between the the squares were done, the puffiness, the squares between the blocks, the border, the binding, the obvious thought and creativity and, and, and.

You have released my inner two year old. I am sitting on the floor, reaching for the quilt yelling, "I want it! Mine!"

You have been copied to file. Inspiration now and into the future. Only one question. What did you use for the "stuffing? (Forgive me, occasionally words fail me and the best I could come up with for the inner layer of a quilt is "stuffing." I hate it when this happens.)

Anyway, congratulations on the quilt and being a great sister.

Pat

I love it. And thanks for the info on the batting. It has also gone into my 'quilts to do' folder..
