Farmquilter- I HAD to laugh because I see it plain as day !! I told my hunny, nope didn't see it!! Sooo I placed two buttons on the 'tube" part and he had the Ohhhhh ok, so now wants it in his man cave, NOT HAPPENING. Auntie B- yes I thought about the half core's but didn't have enough fabric left over, and yes I did cut the binding on the bias.

I tried this pattern years ago and gave up after I finished a 9x 9 block assembly.

Did you hand or machine piece this block?

The instructions I have want me to sew very other curve and go back to sew the alternating ones when sewing the rows together. is this how you did it? Is there a simpler way to sew the rows together?

Thanks for any input you can share.

The quilt is awesome, to say the least!
    peace

Ohhhhhhh, this quilt has been on my bucket list for so long and I think your's might just push me into HAVING to buy one of those cutters. First I am going to buy the apple core and try it in my Sizzix cutter. LOVE your quilt and the binding looks just fine from here.

Probably not the look you were going for but it makes me feel like it's the sea - all the blues and tan. Water and sand. Or maybe I just want to go to the ocean! Either way it is beautiful!!

It's beautiful! I'm waiting my apple core die to start mine with recycled plaid shirts.
