Your quilt is beautiful. I am so glad that you "kept at it." I, too, am from Arkansas. As soon as I have read the newspaper from cover to cover each morning, I pick up the lap top to check on what is new on the quilting board. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. You know what they say about fractured ribs--it only hurts when you breathe.

A BIG congratulations to you, it is beautiful and it is admirable. I started about three yrs. ago. I am almost to the bridge on the first panel. I don't know if I gave up or was it the arthritic fingers that gave up, but I know now that mine will never be finished, at least by my hands.

So sorry to hear of your family's health issues. We, too, had our issues last summer: my back surgery in June; hub's emergency 5-bypass surgery in July; my 3 bypass/valve replacement in Aug and son's stent in Aug. Thankfully, we have recovered except for some back issues. Hope your husband's health continues to improve. Remember: take care of yourself while you both "recover". Will keep you in my prayers.e
